Cheap Fun Date Ideas

Every couple loves romance. Working on keeping that spark in your relationship is not difficult.

The problem sometimes is cheap date ideas are hard to come by and date nights tend to get expensive when you’re in the middle of saving for things. One of our goals this year is to eliminate debt, you might not think you have the money for a date night, but rest assured, with a little imagination, there are some really fun dates you can do that won't break the bank. These cheap date ideas focus on reconnecting you with your partner so you can keep that spark and your savings alive. Here are a few of my favorites affordable dates.

Picnic in the Park

Picnic in the park is a romantic date idea that is tried and true. Make your sandwich at home or anything you can pack and bring some snacks and beverages. Do not forget a blanket and a wireless speaker and go to your local park for lunch and listen to music. Spend a few hours to enjoy your meals together, talk, people-watching and enjoy some outside time. This is one thing that can be a lot of fun, very affordable, and it gets you out of the norm.

Hiking / Walk a Trail

If you and your partner love nature, going for a hike together can be relaxing. Make sure you try out a new hiking trail or maybe go outside of your hometown or wherever you're living and go explore a new area together. Do not forget to stop and admire the beauty of nature and leave the electronics behind. This is a good bonding experience.

Visit a Museum

Are you and your partner fond of art or history or do you like learning more about artist? You can choose look into what days museum offer discounted or free admission price on a certain day of the month.

If you are in the South Florida Area Check out these museums that offer Free admissions

ICA Institute of Contempary Art Miami

and

Norton Musem of Art

in West Palm Beach

Scenic Drive

If outdoor activities isn’t your thing hop in the car for a ride, taking a scenic drive can be the next fun option. Scenic drives may vary according to season. Almost everything is scenic during the fall if you are lucky enough to live in an area where the leaves change color and most of the highways near the coast are beautiful in spring and summer. During the holidays, it can be fun to take a drive around to see the illuminated houses. My husband and I will go for a scenic drive and end up in neighborhoods and point at house and claim which house will be our dream house one day.

Leave a comment and let me know what is one affordable date idea that you have done or that you enjoy.
