My Favorite Sunscreens
Growing up, I did not fully understand why I should use sunscreen daily. Over the years, I gained knowledge of the benefits of using SPF and including it in beauty and skincare products.
75% of skin aging is due to environmental factors, and especially to UV rays. The largest organ of the human body is your skin, and it is the one thing most people will notice about you first off. Your skin is vitally essential, taking proper care is imperative to keep your melanin popping. When included in your everyday beauty products, it helps to protect your skin from UV damage and skin cancer.
Skin is vulnerable to sun damage in the city when pollution and UV rays even during the cold temperatures. UV protection is generally measured as an SPF concentration. SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. Sun products will have this listed as a number on the label or bottle. There are many different concentrations of SPF sunscreen you can choose from. It is essential to apply sunscreen before sun exposure and to reapply sunscreen. Before you head to the beach, lather on your sunscreen at home and reapply, especially after swimming and sweating for an extended period.

Black Girl Sunscreen
Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 35 is a physical sunscreen that provides UVA/UVB protection that immediately blocks out the sun's harmful UVA/UVB rays. This sunscreen is infused with natural ingredients that moisturize, heal, and protect your skin all in one. I love this sunscreen melts in my skin and doesn't leave a white cast. You can purchase this sunscreen at Target or Black Girl Sunscreen website.
Glossier Invisible Shield SPF 35
Glossier Invisible Shield SPF 35 is my OG sunscreen. I've used this sunscreen for over a year now, and I love the lightweight feel. It has a water gel serum consistency, it doesn't feel too heavy wearing with foundation.
