The Best Apps for Content Creation

DSC04932.JPG

Content creation apps have the power to help you take your social media presence to a whole new level. They’ll also save you a ton of time and energy you’d have to spend doing everything manually. With the time saved, you can devote more time to other tasks.

These apps offer a range of solutions that can help you easily organize multiple social platforms, elevate content, and stay informed on industry news. Althоugh many of the features, layouts and intuitiveness differ across each app, they all get the job done when you choose the right one that matches your current social presence and marketing strategy.

Check out a few of my favorite content creation apps I often use for my blog, social media, and business.

Feedly

Feedly is an app that creates a feed of news sources and blog posts. When reading articles, you can share articles, save for later, or visit the source website. Attending blogger and network events you meet and follow many bloggers, and Feedly makes it easy to add blogs to fellow bloggers and keep up with their latest post. Feedly is great to stay on top of your industry news; for example, I follow social media marketing and photography blogs to keep on top of the latest industry news and changes.

Later

Later you plan out a schedule to optimize your social updates by scheduling and to spread them out to publish throughout the day. You can use it with Facebook, Inѕtаgrаm, Pinterest, and Twitter. The dashboard is super simple to use, giving you full customization of your posting schedule and the ability to view your analytics. Using the Later mobile app and the web browser makes it easier than ever to add posts, including captions and hashtags, to your schedule quickly. The free version offers up to 30 scheduled posts, and with the Plus version, you have up to 100 posts and the ability to plan Instagram Stories.

Focus Lock- Flipd

Flipd is a Digital Wellness App with a feature I love to focus on and concentrate on creating content and writing blog posts without distractions. When you enable the Full Lock Mode, the app will hide all apps for 4hr or 8hr interval (if you have the paid version, you can create a custom time). Using the Hide All Apps feature in the app; I can focus on a single task and not endlessly scroll on social media. When the time is up, your apps will reappear on your phone.

Grammarly

I struggle with writing blog post. I often over think and write in circles. Using Grammarly helps not only with grammar but clarity and readability. You are able to put Goals for your writing and the writing assistant checks the performance and generates a performance score that pinpoints areas to advance your writing. There is a free version it offers a limited amount of the features. The Premium version is $59.95 for six months.
