House to Home: Dining Room Table Update
Thanks to Facebook memories I was reminded August marks my 5th South Florida Anniversary. After looking back at our first apartment I have seen how far we have come as adults and the levels to my interior style lol. Our dining room table needed a makeover.
I am proud to share I did this ENTIRE DIY myself no help from my husband.
This project took a few months because I procrastinated so long getting every piece.
Here is the breakdown of this table makeover:
Sanded Down the table and chair legs.
Painted table and chair legs with White Eggshell Paint.
Coated all-white paint with Polycrylic to prevent and stains and scratches.
Covered the glass top with contact paper.
Covered chairs with covers.
I will be honest I wasn't impressed with the look with the contact paper at first. There was a lot of bubbes and it took forever to get them out (they're not all gone btw 😫). I looked up to see how much a new glass or mirror would cost but It was pricey and the center circle isnt an even diameter Its 29 3/4 inches and Amazon offers a selection of tops but there wasn't a size that could work with my table.
