My Skincare Favorites
Do you ever look at old pictures, and you notice your skin glow-up? I saw a picture from three-plus years ago when my skin hit rock bottom. For years I struggled with on again off again hormonal acne. I turned into a product hoarder searching for the solution that would cure my breakouts and reduce hyperpigmentation but to no success.

With this time home and self-quarantine, I've been falling back in love with photography again. I've used my free time to do self-portraits and test out new hacks and ideas. During wedding planning, there were a few things I put my foot down and refused to compromise. One of the non-negotiable was having an unplugged ceremony. You may have read the viral article from a photographer that begged brides to have an unplugged wedding (link). I totally agree with the photographer. I've attended weddings where my view was blocked by an iPad snapping photos.

Growing up, I did not fully understand why I should use sunscreen daily. Over the years, I gained knowledge of the benefits of using SPF and including it in beauty and skincare products. 75% of skin aging is due to environmental factors, and especially to UV rays. The largest organ of the human body is your skin, and it is the one thing most people will notice about you first off. Your skin is vitally essential, taking proper care is imperative to keep your melanin popping.

To achieve a picture-perfect image and video having great lighting is key. A year ago I purchased the Neewer 18-inch Neewer Ring Light. I instantly fell in love with my photos using the ring light. Bedroom Update
It's officially spring and time to start spring cleaning and decorating. As I mentioned in my wallpaper post I always talked myself out of decorating because I was a renter and I did not own my townhome. Quarantine Creativity Photoshoots
Over the weekend I felt my anxiety and depression creeping up and I knew it was because I was idle with my time and energy. I thought to myself what if I create something new every day of the week. Then I pushed it a step further what if I create something every day and share it on social media and put myself out there to hold myself accountable for following thru with this challenge. I not going to lie I was so nervous because I didn't want people to think I was being vain or not in tune that people are sick, dying, and risking there lives daily. Despite all of my fears of what people would think I decided to follow thru and created the #DawnOnCreativity challenge for myself.
